 Embrace the Forbidden

What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?

This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.

Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She's aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but Anna, the ultimate good girl, has always had the advantage of her angel side to balance the darkness within. It isn't until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He's the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

This is book one in the Sweet triology. This one surprised me. I didn't really think it was going to be good and almost didn't get it. I have found angel/demon books out right now to be iffy and I didn't want to waste my money and yet another book I didn't think was that great. However, Sweet evil is an interesting take. The child of demons in these books have to go work for their father's once they come of angel. The main character, however, is different from the others. Her father is a demon but her mother was an angel. This first in the series is mainly about Anna learning who and what she is. She always knew she was different but now she knows the truth about it all she is also learning how to deal with it. There is a strong romance in it. Maybe with a hint of triangle to come, which I, personally, hate. We'll see what the next in the series brings though.
Its a great first of a series.
