Feature and Follow #2

What is a book you didn’t like that all your friends raved about or what book did you love that wasn’t popular? Let's see, a book that I heard great things for, but I did not like at all?
I can't choose one... Three popular series that I heard wonderful things about that I didn't like is: House of Night series, The Wolves of Mercy Falls series, and The Uglies series. They all fell flat for me. I found them either annoying or I got so bored with them, I didn't care to find out what happens.
What about you?

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee's View & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.
This is a Blog Hop!

Didn't care for the first book in House of Night myself. I liked Wolves of Mercy. And never read the other one either. House of Night was just kind of blah for me. I loaned it to a friend...like 3 years ago maybe now and haven't gotten it back. Not in a big hurry either!

Here's my Follow Friday

Have a GREAT weekend!

I'd have to totally agree with Uglies and Wolves of Mercy Falls... they were just kinda whatever for me as well. House of Night I did really like for the first 5 or so books - then I just got irritated with the whole lot of 'em, lol. Thanks for stopping by my blog, following you back!

Hopping through. New follower! I loved the first book in the Uglies series, but couldn't stand the other two.

Yea, Uglies and House of Night -- I only read the first in each series. But I really enjoyed Wolves of Mercy Falls -- and Westerfeld's Leviathan series is one of my all time favorites! Thanks for visiting. Lovely blog -- new follower.

New follower from blogger lift on good reads. Totally agree about uglies, great idea but it just never lived up to my expectations. I find the more good reviews a book has, the bigger the fall when it let's you down. The reverse is true too though & since surprise :D

House of Night series was enjoyable to me, but after each one I read I feel like I enjoyed it less and less. Wolves of Mercy Falls was also a 'meh' series for me. Liked it, but wasn't wow'd. Thank you so much for stopping by my FF. Old follower :D Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven

I used to like HON when it was first released...still annoying the series is still going. Like come on!!! Haha I read The Uglies series and it was "fine". I haven't read the other one though.

Glad to find someone who liked The Host as well! Thank you so much for commenting and following! 8)

The Uglies series is the only one I've heard of (I think) and I might have that on my tbr list, albeit not very high on the list since it looks like just another regular YA series, lol! Thanks for stopping by! I'm a new GFC follower as well!

It was Twilight for me! Heard about those series you mentioned but wasn't really interested in reading them.
