What happens when your celebrity crush and hero becomes your coach? Sal has to find that out first hand. She is a kickass professional soccer player who just wants to play and dreams of winning championships. She is absolutely shocked to find out the man, who inspired her ambitions on the pitch, is going to be a coach for her team. 

Only he's not quite what she was expecting. He's an ass.  

Have I ever mentioned how much I enjoy slow burn romances? Mariana Zapata is seriously the master of them. Kulti is written in a way that makes the romance more realistic then insta-love. It's believable and so heart felt.  I absolutely loved the personality of Sal and the secretly sweet side of Kulti.

Callie Dalton is probably my favorite narrator I've listened to so far. She brought brought the characters to life and made the humour even more hilarious. She captures the energy of Sal and the attitude of Kulti. I can not wait to listen to another book she has narrated. 

Don't miss this if you love slow burn or sports romances. It is probably one of my favorite sports romances I have ever read, and it is one I plan to revisit again and again. 

But when Aiden Graves shows up at her door wanting her to come back, she's beyond shocked.

For two years, the man known as The Wall of Winnipeg couldn't find it in him to tell her good morning or congratulate her on her birthday. Now? He's asking for the unthinkable.

The Wall of Winnipeg by Mariana Zapata is a sports romance novel that could have coined the term "slow burn." I love slow burn romances. Love them. The build up until you reach the "I have melted into a puddle" point is the best. 

Vanessa is the personal assistant to football mega superstar, Aiden. She does everything can for the guy with no thanks in return. It's not her passion, but it gives her the paycheck she needs to save up for her dreams. 

So when she finally works up the courage to quit and do just that, she is shocked to find Mister cold blood himself at her doorstep with a proposition she can't refuse. 

I love Van. She has quirk and a quick wit. She is head strong and determined. She is unwilling to fail and to rise above when she came from. She had a shit life as a kid, but she doesn't let that mess with how she wants to live her life. 

Aiden is the quiet, strong type. He doesn't let people in often, but when he does... watch out. You can't help but fall for him through out the story and want your own real life version for yourself. 

The story has a steady place, and I didn't want to stop to do anything from the time I started to the last page.  It's a straight forward story line, but there are so many sweet moments that makes a girl's heart swoon.  

If you want something steamy from start to finish this is not that. If you like to see a relationship build and a more realistic love grow then check this one out. You will not regret it.
